As of today we have an official TRD paypal account, so that Spook, Marcus and Necromancer can all receive payments and give credits when payments are received. This will help clear the backlog of payments, and is working well so far! All money from proceeds will go towards maintaining TRD services, including forums/domains and servers.

The interest generated by the credit sale offer is astounding, everyone is lining up to up their skills on Australias' most popular Unique-modded RPG server!

Credit sales info:

Send money to tacticalresponsedivision@yahoo.com along with your ingame name/steam friends name

Contact an admin (Spook, Marcus, or Necromancer) and let them know you've paid.
Once we see the money, we will hop into the server with you and give those credits.

We hope this process makes it simpler for all you people who have been asking about credit sales

I was wondering how many credits I could get for a certain amount, and do I have to AUD's, or can I use USD's

$1 to 750 Credits (for TRD Members)
$1 to 500 Credits (for Everybody Else)

Not sure about the currency AUD I guess

AUD yes, if you use USD plz convert it.. paypal does that easily, as we do $1 AUD for however many credits you are eligible for

and trialees get how much?

Trialees are $1 for 600, but why do you ask? You're a full member now

yeah guys buying credits is very worth it! and is their still a cap on how many credits we can buy at one time... ($20 AUD worth). BTW very good idea to post this announcement on the forums, when i was trying to buy mine it was a pain becoz it wasnt set up very clearly.

I heard there is a maximum to how many credits you buy. That if someone bought, let's say $100s worth of credits, that might become an unfair advantage towards the other players. Is that true?

Yes. The limits are as follows

Lvl 1 - 70 max $20

Lvl 70 - 110 max $50

Lvl 110 + unlimited

These rules were because at low lvls, x amount of credits can up skills that much more, when you get to higher lvls, you need more credits just for 1 extra lvl in a skill.

However, us admins will have to discuss whether these guidelines still stand, due to everyones lvls being reset but not their skills. There may instead be a time period, say, no more than $50 every six months, or something similar. At present I would say every1 up to $50 then we discuss what the new guidelines are, what problems or reasons we would have to restrict amounts etc.

You guys realise that every $1 spent on credits, goes towards running our servers/site. This cumulative cost is around $100-$200 per month, and is currently basically ALL being funded by Spook. So really anything spent on credits is fantastic because it means servers and services can continue, it may be that spending is unrestricted we shall see

Hey Necro, maybe if you can get the motd thing workin add people names who have brought the most and a public thanks to the people who have donated recently.

Yeah we are working on a HTML version of the MOTD, with the rules set out in a simple list form and explanations of each down the bottom if ppl dont understand. Adding donators could be good too

using HTML to get it to show the biggest spenders would be annoying tho, you'd be better using PLSQL to extract data from a database. Then you can just change a message in the database and it would come up there aswell. For example you could have a column named MoTD and just change the values then that is what will come up onscreen. You don't have to screw around with html coding (makes things alot simpler especially when you use a SQL program like SQLYog or Oracle
